Kids will have something new to fawn over when Deer Squad premieres on Nickelodeon later this month.
After a successful debut overseas, the Chinese-originated series is making its way to the U.S. to introduce kids to the enthusiastic and heroic squad of deer friends. The CG-animated, adventure-rescue show features four deer — Kai, Lola, Bobbi, and Rammy — who protect the animals of Central Forest and the humans of Platinum City, a futuristic metropolis near their woodland home. When trouble arises, the deer summon their special “planet powers” of water (Kai), wood (Lola), Earth (Bobbi), and sun (Rammy) to help them solve problems.
“We’re incredibly proud to see this original preschool series become the first Nickelodeon International global Chinese-originated collaborative project, as we further our commitment to developing kids-first content from around the world,” said Nina Hahn, Head of VIS KIDS and Senior Vice President of International Production & Development for Nickelodeon International, in a press release.
Deer Squad will debut on Nickelodeon on Jan. 25, at 9 a.m. (ET/PT) and will continue to air on weekdays at 9 a.m. (ET/PT).
