A baby’s gotta do what a baby’s gotta do.
Nickelodeon just saved 2021 with a reboot of the ‘90s cartoon Rugrats, starring the original voice cast.
Tommy Pickles (voiced by E.G. Daily), Chuckie Finster (voiced by Nancy Cartwright), Angelica Pickles (voiced by Cheryl Chase), Susie Carmichael (voiced by Cree Summer), and Phil and Lil (voiced by Kath Soucie) are getting back together for the first time since 2006 — and miraculously, the babies haven’t aged a day.
Produced by Nickelodeon Animation Studio, the new CG-animated series will debut this spring on Paramount+, the streaming service from ViacomCBS. The story will follow the personality-filled toddlers as they go on baby adventures and explore the world from their pint-sized point-of-view. Part of the charm of the original series was that parents and kids could both enjoy the humor together — and that still holds true, especially with the added nostalgia factor.
Check out the trailer now to see Angelica return to her old tricks.
