The days of meltdowns and sorrow following a left-behind Nintendo Switch are no longer — kids can play Animal Crossing with an updated deluxe phone app!

After seven years of Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp existing in the world of kid-approved smart device apps, Nintendo is bringing Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete to your Apple and Google screens. This new, complete version includes moments from the older edition and exciting new features!

Now, players have the ability to exchange Leaf Tokens for in-game items and the opportunity to create (and collect) personalized player Camper Cards.

Whether a kid is a longtime Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp fan or just dipping their toes in the water of campground management for the first time, this game will suit all Animal Crossing players.

Another excellent highlight is that players can visit a new Whistle Pass Location and visit fellow players whose camper cards they have collected. Various new seasonal events — and returning ones that fans know and love — will be held throughout the year within the app.

One of the new app’s most exciting features is the ability to import Custom Designs! Players can make custom designs in the Animal Crossing: New Horizons on the Nintendo Switch, then enter the Custom Design IDs in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete to transfer their designs to the smartphone app. These custom designs can be applied to things like in-game clothing, flooring, and more!

The game is available for one-time purchase at the introductory price of $9.99, which will increase to $19.99 on Jan. 30. It is available on iOS and Android devices now, just in time for holiday car rides!
