For more than 20 years, Beyblade has been wowing fans through ADK Emotions’ extensive anime series and an ever-growing collection of toys. Now, the Beyblade Burst Surge line is getting an upgrade.
Just in time for the holiday season, Hasbro unleashed an epic new Beyblade set that includes the first motorized Beystadium in Beyblade Burst history, and it’s bringing some newfound power to supercharge the action!
For parents, grandparents, and anyone else that may be uninitiated to the world of Beyblade, this toy line revolves around collectible battle tops that feature multiple layers that can split apart for an “explosive” effect as kids go head-to-head. The tops spin either right or left and are powered by a zip-strip style launcher.

The Beyblade Burst Speedstorm Motor Strike Battle Set comes packed with the essential tools for budding Bladers to battle right out of the box. Kids can harness the power of the Speedstorm with the included right-spin tops: the defense type Evo Lucius Endbringer L6 D12/TSP22 and the attack type Evo Hyperion Flamebringer H6 D49/TSP21 using the included right/left spin launchers.

When kids let drop their tops into the Beystadium, the spinning Motor Vortex disc in the center will create an energy zone that can power up the spin of the tops to create even more ferocious collisions and attacks. Of course, kids will want to collect additional tops to extend the action, and we’re recommending the defense type Vex Lucious L6 spinning top and the new dual-pack that comes with the Beyblade Burst Surge right/left spin World Spryzen S6 D04 TSP14 balance top and the right-spin Betromoth B6 D72 TSP10 defense top.
Families that have a lot of Beyblade toys in the house already might be used to the yearly debut of a new Beystadium to serve as a fresh arena for battles to come, but this set really does kick things up by more than a few notches. It’s action-packed and exciting, and you shouldn’t be surprised if the grownups in the house decide that they want to try their hands at Blading after seeing how much fun the kids are having.
While this is a very hands-on, screen-free play experience, kids — or Beymasters — can scan the codes on the Beyblade Burst tops’ Storm Chips and Motor Strike Beystadium to unlock digital versions of them in the free companion app for iOS and Android.
Now, crank up the ridiculously catchy Beyblade Burst Surge theme song, “We Got the Spin” and let it rip!
