“I will do my best to be … a sister to every Girl Scout” — and all my teddy bears.
It’s officially Girl Scout cookie season, and before your kids start stuffing their faces on Thin Mints and Samoas (erm, no judgment here), they can cuddle up with a Scouting companion — one who happens to smell just as sweet as their favorite cookies.
Build-a-Bear Workshop is getting in on the joy of cookie season with a new teddy bear, adding to the company’s Girl Scouts of the USA Collection. Coconut Caramel Cookie Bear features brown fur that matches the bear’s Samoas-inspired (aka Caramel deLites) flavor theme. Not only that, but there’s an option for kids to infuse the cookie’s sweet-smelling aroma directly into the bear’s fur.
The Samoas-inspired plush bear joins a teal-colored Thin Mints Cookie Bear and an assortment of scouting-themed outfits.
Kids can accessorize their sweet-smelling Girl Scout bears with a purple dress with STEM doodles and matching undies, a cookie heart shirt and matching skirt set, a cookie-printed onesie, a “Smart Cookie” hoodie, a tiny purse, or a headband with a purple bow. Each of these stylish looks can be paired with different bear-sized Girl Scout vests for Daisies, Brownies, Juniors, Seniors, and Ambassadors. In short, each bear’s full ensemble is beary cute.
To continue the bear-building fun, troops can book a Girl Scout-themed party in stores with plenty of fun games and activities, and each guest will walk away with one Coconut Caramel Cookie Bear, one Scouts clothing item, and one Scout vest or accessory.
These new bears will be available in stores beginning tomorrow, Friday, Jan. 31.
