Parents, don’t let global barriers stop kids from learning new things this summer!
BYJU’S, an education technology company for students from pre-K to 12th grade, is hosting its first-ever virtual summer camp filled with live classes and 10 weeks of dynamic workshops and events.
Created as an extension of BYJU’S global education model, BYJU’S Summer Camp features experts in the fields of STEM, arts, gaming, cuisine, and more. Beginning in June, these experts will host workshops each week through August. The summer camp will cover a diverse range of topics inspired by traditional camp experiences, like space or survival training, as well as futuristic technology, like a science class taught by a robot, and gaming tips from one of the world’s top five Minecraft players.
BYJU’S Summer Camp’s lineup of weekly workshops include Cosmic Campfire for Kids with Neil deGrasse Tyson, Science Class taught by a real robot (Sophia the Robot), Build Battles on Minecraft with JeromeASF, The Power of Storytelling with Nuseir Yassin, How to Build Curiosity with Zaila Avant-garde, Friendships 101 & Kid Confidence Building with Dr. Eileen Kennedy-Moore, CEO for a Day with Divya Gokulnath, Survival Tips for a Zombie Attack with Mykel Hawke, Summer Recipes and NFTs with Chef Logan Guleff, and Strategies for Improving Math Skills with Dr. Jo Boaler.
During each Summer Fest workshop, students can meet and connect with other students during group breakout sessions, led by a BYJU’S moderator who will guide the discussion based on that week’s workshop’s theme and other educational topics. Students will be placed in groups based on their shared interests to connect them with like-minded peers. In addition to these workshops, BYJU’S will launch specially curated class packages in coding, math, music, arts, animation, and video on June 10.
BYJU’S is currently offering an early bird discount of its Summer Camp packages until April 30. Beginning on May 1, Summer Fest packages start at $99 for access to all expert workshops and Summer Camp class packages begin at $149. Visit BYJU’S website for more information.
