A cat that purrs, is super soft to pet, and will love you forever? It’s not too good to be true.
Thanks to Hasbro‘s new Joy for All brand, everyone can have his or her own lifelike pet (without all of the annoying parts, like feeding it and making sure it doesn’t make a mess). The first item in the Companion Pets line is the Joy for All Companion Pet Cat, an animatronic kitty designed to reach a new demographic this year: seniors.
Besides being a guaranteed friend for life, these new pet cats include exclusive technology that enables a purring experience the user can actually feel; response to petting, hugging, and motion through built-in sensors; authentic cat sound effects; and soft fur inspired by real felines.
The Companion Pet Cat is Hasbro’s first foray into products designed specifically for seniors and was inspired by consumer feedback. Extensive consumer research with older adults and their caregivers nationwide were considered during the development of the new line.
The Joy for All Companion Pet Cat is available for purchase on joyforall.com and is offered in silver, creamy white, and orange tabby fur colors.
