Mayhem. Melee. Marsupials. With the new video game Crash Team Rumble, kids will get a frenetic dose of everyone’s favorite animated bandicoot!
In Crash Team Rumble, gamers can play as characters from the Crash Bandicoot universe and team up to brawl, battle, and buffalo in order to be the team that collects the most Wumpa fruit. Using strategy to maneuver the chaotic battlefield, teams must actively prevent the opposing team from collecting their own fruit. In short, it’s cooperation with a side of crazy.
Characters like Crash Bandicoot, the mutant marsupial protagonist; Doctor Neo Cortex, Crash’s mad scientist creator and nemesis; Coco; Tawna; Dingodile; Neo Cortex; N. Tropy; and N. Brio will all join the party as playable characters. All characters are split into three categories of battle-type: Blocker, Booster, or Scorer.
Crash Team Rumble, produced by Activision Publishing, is available in Standard Edition for $29.99 and Deluxe Edition for $39.99. Crash-enthusiasts can expect seasonal post-launch drops of new characters, arenas, and more to extend gameplay.
And, as they say, teamwork makes the dream work: Cross-platform play is also available across PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One, so players with different consoles are still able to band together to get in on the action.
