Did you know that great white sharks don’t have any bones or that octopuses can change the color of their skin? Kids can learn fun facts about sea creatures and how to protect the ocean those creatures live in with a new Spotify original podcast, Deep Blue Sea.

The family-friendly podcast is perfect for kids ages 3-5 as it takes listeners aboard a giant submarine called Sea Lap Alpha. Underwater explorers Marina and Reef will explore the mysteries of the oceans as they teach kids about the coolest, cutest, largest, and smallest sea creatures on our planet.

The first episode, “Mark the Great White Shark” launched today with 12 minutes that follow Marina and Reef on a journey near Hawaii as they meet their friend Mark the Great White Shark. Listeners will learn how great white sharks keep the ocean balanced, why they’re so good at swimming, and how human’s have ears and noses made of cartilage — just like sharks.
