Your family’s favorite PBS Kids puppets are ready to party!
Next month, kids can watch as Someplace Else features celebratory countdowns and traditions — old and new — in a half-hour special of Donkey Hodie.
In “A Donkey Hodie New Year,” Donkey Hodie is preparing for New Year’s Eve. The special follows the title character, Grampy, and Cousin Hodie as they get ready for their own special family tradition. The celebration also includes a new tradition for the neighbors: singing an original rendition of Fred Rogers’ song, “Won’t You Be My Neighbor.”
The special premieres on PBS Kids on Dec. 2, slightly before families will welcome 2025, which gives you time to watch it again and again. It’s full of music, friendship, and family — exactly what you need when heading into the new year!
Kids can also watch a new episode of Alma’s Way on Dec. 2. In the story “No Sleep ‘Til New Year’s,” viewers will follow along as Alma and Junior attempt to stay awake to ring in the new year. No matter what you watch, your kids will love celebrating 2025 with their favorite characters!
