Young Kipo journeys to the surface — and the top of kids’ Netflix queue — when the new animated series Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts drops on the streaming giant this month.
Before next week’s adventure-filled premiere, Dreamworks has released an official trailer introducing viewers to Kipo (voiced by Karen Fukuhara), a young girl on a quest to navigate a new, aboveground world to find her family after the apocalypse. The series follows Kipo and a ragtag group of survivors through a vibrantly colored wonderland.
The series also stars Sydney Mikayla (General Hospital), Coy Stewart (The Blacklist), Deon Cole (black-ish), and Dee Bradley Baker (Star Wars: The Clone Wars) as the rest of her team. Sterling K. Brown, Dan Stevens, Lea Delaria, rockstar Joan Jett, John Hodgman, and GZA all guest star.
All 10 half-hour episodes will be available to stream worldwide on Jan. 14.
