Minions are taking over family game night with a new version of the Exploding Kittens game, created in partnership with Illumination and Universal Brand Development.
Exploding Kittens is a strategic, Russian Roulette-style card game in which players must draw cards featuring goats, magical enchiladas, and kittens — except drawing an exploding kitten card will kill you. Exploding Minions is a family-friendly spin-off game designed for kids ages 7 and up.
The spin-off features new card types and fun illustrations of Minions. Players must take turns drawing cards while trying to avoid the exploding Minion cards by using clever strategies and favorite cards such as “Defuse,” “Nope,” and “See the Future,” as well as the new “Clone Card.” The last player who hasn’t exploded wins. Exploding Minions is available at Target and explodingkittens.com for $19.99. It will also be available at Walmart later this summer.
