The jump-scares from Five Nights at Freddy’s are coming off the screen and into your next game night.
Funko Games is bringing gamers a new way to enjoy Five Nights at Freddy’s irl with a new Scare-in-the-Box game that combines edgy suspense and playful competition.
Kids ages 8 and up can compete to be the last player standing in this eerie Jack-in-the-Box game. 2-8 players will pass the box between each other, with the option to turn the crank or use pass tokens to skip their turn. If Freddy emerges from the box on your turn, you’re out of the game. However, you can use scare tokens to try to reclaim a spot in the game from other players. The game also uses creepy tunes and sound effects from the popular video game series to make the experience even more suspenseful, until one player remains victorious!
Freddy-in-the-Box hits shelves in January but it is available to preorder now for $24.99. Lucky FNAF fans will also have the opportunity to purchase the game in person at PAX Unplugged from Dec. 2-4 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia. This game makes the perfect gift for anyone who dares brave the halls of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza!
