In this game, the nuttiest squirrel wins
- Fun free-for-all grab game for up to three players
- Fling the squirrels at the feeder, then collect the nuts
- Refill the feeder over and over again for another round
WHAT IT IS
In this game designed for players ages 6 and up, players race to fling their squirrels at the hanging birdfeeder at the center of the table. When they hit the targets, the feeder will drop different nuts, and they must then race to collect the most. The game continues until all the players collect all of the nuts. The peanuts are great, but the golden acorns are worth more points. The player with the most points at the end wins the game.
WHY WE LOVE IT
This new game from PlayMonster is super fun and active, while also subtly sneaking in counting and math skills while scoring. Kids will have a laugh-out-loud blast as they fling their flying squirrels at the targets (and parents will, too!). Gameplay is pretty quick, but the fun factor will keep kids engaged as they play over and over again. There is a bit of dexterity needed to fling the squirrels and aim, so you also get some fine motor skill development benefits built in as well.
IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW
There is a trick to flinging the squirrels, so younger kids may get a little frustrated as they learn how to do it. The game is designed for up to three players, so it may require some turn-taking if you have a larger group.
PERFECT FOR
High-energy kids; families looking for silly games; basic math skills; fine motor development
FLYING SQUIRRELS FEEDER FRENZY
Kids compete to fling their squirrels at the birdfeeder and claim the nuts that pour out. The player with the most nuts at the end wins the game.
