All around the world, car enthusiasts create their own custom builds that are works of art in their own right.
To show appreciation to the culture these builders create, Hot Wheels hosts the Legends Tour, where families can show off their custom cars and compete for the honor of having the coolest car. This is the fifth year of the Legends Tour. The semi-finals for the Legends Tour is tonight, Nov. 10, at 5 p.m. PT. Only the top 10 custom builds from the semi-finals will move on to the Global Grand Finale on Saturday, Nov. 12, at 9 a.m. PT.
The Grand Finale will take place in Jay Leno’s Garage, where contestants from the U.S. Canada, Germany, the UK, New Zealand, and more will compete for the top spot. Mattel will turn the winner of the 2022 Hot Wheels Legends Tour’s custom build into a unique 1:64 scale die-cast and induct them into the Hot Wheels Garage of Legends. Last year’s Legends Tour winner was a 1969 Volvo P1800 gasser called “Ain’t No Saint” from Somerset England.
These unique cars show the peak of car creativity, and the winner will be immortalized in Hot Wheels history!
