The Hot Wheels Legends Tour, presented by Mobil 1, is returning to the Motor City to showcase some of the Detroit area’s best custom car builds and to select a winner.

This is the fifth year of the tour, which spans across five continents as the largest traveling car show in the world. Each stop provides custom car builders with a platform to showcase their passion projects with other automotive enthusiasts.

All competition entrants will have their custom cars evaluated based on creativity, authenticity, and garage spirit. A select panel of judges made up of local automotive legends and Hot Wheels designers will select the Detroit winner. The winner of the event will then advance in the competition for a chance to compete in the Global Grand Finale later in the year. The 2022 champion will have their one-of-a-kind-car immortalized as a 1:64-scale official Hot Wheels die-cast car and sold around the globe.

The Detroit event will take place at Walmart Livonia from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. ET on July 9. For more information about the tour and later stops, visit hotwheels.com/legends.
