This fall, little Hot Wheels racers can pedal to the metal all on their own! Mattel is updating its iconic orange tracks to make designing, building, and zooming a snap.
Before the Speed Snap Track System, many young kids looked for assistance when assembling their dream race tracks. Now, it’s easy to snap each piece together, making Hot Wheels more accessible and intuitive so kids can get to playing even faster than before — no parental pit crew required! From high-octane circuits to loops, kids will be able to strengthen their independence and creativity at top speed.
The initial line includes two playsets: the Boosted Jump Speedway Kit ($39.99), which features an epic ramp to catch some air, and the Triple Loop Speed Kit ($29.99), sporting three loops kids can customize. Families can also purchase packs of snapable straight tracks to amp up their rides. Longtime racers, have no fear — each set includes adaptors for your existing Hot Wheels tracks, making even the most complex designs simple and speedy.
Alongside the playsets, Hot Wheels is releasing the Hot Wheels Track Creator, an interactive mobile app that gives families step-by-step 3D instructions to set up their tracks. The app also inspires little racers to create new action-packed builds, encouraging their imagination and need for speed. Families can download the app for free on the App Store and Google Play.Â
The Speed Snap Track System will debut this fall, and select playsets will hit the toy aisle as early as June 1.
