Meet Riley, a new doll that represents kids with both Asian and Caucasian backgrounds!

Jilly Bing, a company that celebrates Asian American heritage through dolls and toys, is introducing Riley to playtime. This is the brand’s first doll representing an Asian and Caucasian girl.

According to the NY Times analysis of the 2020 Census, over 3.5 million Americans identify as mixed-race Asian. The Riley Doll will give kids the opportunity to have a doll that looks like them, something every little one deserves.

Riley comes with a fun backstory as well, and getting to know her history, quirks, and hobbies is a fun way to celebrate her arrival! She is the daughter of an Asian father and a Caucasian mother, loves outdoor adventures, and loves to eat snacks from Asian grocery stores. Riley also prefers to put sprinkles, a non-traditional topping, on her Asian shaved ice. She says “My mix, my way,” inspiring kids to be proud of their identity and be themselves.

The Riley Doll helps expand Jilly Bing’s mission to create lovable, Asian American characters that reflect the diversity of today’s community. Her appearance, background, interests, and personality make the Riley doll a great way for kids to learn to be proud of who they are and their heritage.

The Riley Doll is available exclusively online at the link below. Parents can preorder the doll now!
