We’re walking — and singing and dancing — through a winter wonderland!
Children’s musician Laurie Berkner is inviting all of her fans and music lovers to get in the holiday spirit with two virtual holiday party concerts on Saturday, Dec. 18.
All of the Laurie Berkner Band members (Brady Rymer, Susie Lampert, and Bobby Golden) will join in for these live, virtual concerts with both traditional and secular holiday songs, including “Jingle Bells,” “Frosty the Snowman,” “Dreidel Dreidel Dreidel,” and some originals from the A Laurie Berkner Christmas album, such as “Santa’s Coming to My House Tonight.” She will also perform some of her greatest hits, including “We Are The Dinosaurs,” “Victor Vito,” and “Pig On Her Head.”
Berkner’s virtual family concerts are interactive experiences, so kids might see images of Frosty dancing during “Frosty the Snowman” or dreidels spinning during “Dreidel Dreidel Dreidel.” Kids are also encouraged to bring their instruments or jingle bells, dancing shoes, and a stuffed animal (for their heads), in addition to decorating their homes and wearing their favorite holiday outfits to the show — whether that be cozy pajamas, festive sweaters, Santa hats, or dressy clothing (anything goes!). Families can also share their thoughts and ideas with Berkner in a live chat throughout the show.
Before the show, attendees can listen to pre-show music and watch videos in the virtual lobby, which also features holiday games and snowflake craft activities that kids can make at home and bring to the concert. Special meet-and-greet tickets are also available for those who would like to chat one-on-one and take virtual photos with Berkner after the show.
The shows will take place on Dec. 18 at noon and 5 p.m. EST. Family tickets are $20 for regular show tickets and $80 for the meet-and-greet add-on package. Click here to learn more and to purchase tickets for the event.
