This is Mexico’s most popular family board game and it’s coming to the U.S. for holiday 2012. This is a classic take on bingo that has been beloved by families for more than 200 years. Featuring colorful, iconic images symbolic of Mexican culture, it’s the perfect party game for the whole family and a game easy to learn at any age. Each player chooses a tabla, or game board, with a randomly created 4×4 grid of authentic Loteria images, and one player is selected as the caller. The caller draws cards from the Loteria deck and announces them to the players; for example, “El Gallo” or “The Rooster.” If the image on your tabla matches the card drawn, mark it with a chip. The first player to get four chips in a row and shout “LOTERIA” wins! Includes 10 tablas (game boards), a deck of 54 colorful Loteria cards, 1 playing card key, & 80 Loteria game chips.
