Upon opening the box, aspiring aviators will see the wooden cockpit dashboard. There is no need for an assembly manual — the only assembly that this toy requires is to snap on the double-sided windscreen that shows the horizon! So kids can take off on a joyride in T-minus minutes!
Grownups will be uplifted to note that when their pint-size pilots turn the destination dial, they’ll hear “hello” in six different languages (English, Mandarin, French, Hindi, Spanish, and Arabic), and when they press the radio button, they will hear music from countries like the U.S., China, France, India, South America, and Africa.

Kids can take off on a variety of pretend play possibilities.
Junior jetsetters can wing it with the four-position throttle that plays engine sounds and adjusts the speed of a scrolling map. When kids turn the steering wheel, they move a mini-plane in the scrolling display! Kids will also fly high when they press and hold a button to record a message and release it to playback with voice change. Sound effects include turbo boost, night mode (changes the color of dials, too!), seatbelt, weather options, landing gear, and turning.
Some other soar-worthy features include volume control, light-up dials, a pretend play headset, and a reusable takeoff and landing checklist. The dashboard requires three AA batteries, which are not included. However, to alleviate turbulence, the toy automatically turns off after approximately 9 minutes of inactivity to prevent battery drain.
