A new year means new series to enjoy!

Netflix is known for its huge collection of kids and family offerings, and that collection is about to get bigger! January is bringing a whole pile of new shows for kids to enjoy, everything from Sonic Prime for the little gamers to Not Quite Narwhal for preschoolers. Celebrate the start of 2024 with a show perfect for your next family watch party.

The year will begin right on Jan. 1 with a ton of new series and movie drops to Netflix, with Antz, Beethoven, The Croods, The Flinstones, How to Train Your Dragon, Jurassic Park, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, Jurassic Park III, Mamma Mia!, Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, One Piece: Marineford, Peppa Pig Seasons 3-6, and School of Rock. For preschoolers looking for a must-watch series to ready them for school, Mighty Bheem’s Playtime will have young Bheem starting school himself on Jan. 8.

Sonic Prime is coming back for a third chapter this Jan. 11. Sonic and some unlikely friends will need to team up to have any hope of getting the Paradox Prism back from Nine. CoComelon season 9 will also be available on Jan. 15.

For colorful preschool fun, the second season of Not Quite Narwhal will drop Jan. 22. Kelp will find new adventures with both unicorns and narwhals as he learns about friendship and more.

Also coming later in January is the American Girl: Corinne Tan movie on Jan. 24 and Thomas & Friends: All Engines Go season 2 on Jan. 26.

Catch all this and more streaming on Netflix this January! Cozy up for the new year, get together the whole family, pop some popcorn, and choose a series to enjoy together. Whether kids are rewatching a classic or finding a new favorite, Netflix will have something for everyone.
