The digital monsters have arrived for battle, and this time, with their most advanced armor yet.
Digimon digital toys first launched in 1997 as a counterpart to the popular Tamagotchi brand. Digimon is a digital, pixelated creature that kids can play with and nurture, but must also train and prepare for battle. Bandai Namco Toys & Collectibles America is launching four new Digimon devices for fans to welcome into their collections.
Maintaining the toy’s trademark gameplay — patterns of hatch, raise, train, and battle — the new models include tie-dye, original dino color, dark camouflage, and ice camouflage styles. Recommended for kids ages 8 and up, each of these devices are home to a different digital monster.
These Digimon devices do not require WiFi and allow players to battle friends with the exclusive dock ‘n rock feature. The device requires batteries, which are included in purchase of the device.
At a price of $19.99 each, the new Digimon design will be available to purchase this July on Amazon. Prepare to feed, train, and care for your future champion of the digital world!
