The Super Bowl may be over, but that doesn’t mean the football mania has to stop. To celebrate Black History Month, Nickelodeon will highlight iconic Black football players with the new special NFL Slimetime Presents Nickelodeon’s Game Changers.
Hosted by Young Dylan, the family-friendly show will explore the journey of Black quarterbacks in the NFL and discuss how the players have impacted the game and the narrative of race in professional football. Kids can watch this half-hour special to see the personal stories of their favorite athletes, including Patrick Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, Jalen Hurts, Jayden Daniels, Doug Williams, and Randall Cunningham.
Before airing the football special, Nickelodeon will premiere a new episode of Tyler Perry’s Young Dylan. The episode “Red Tails” follows Dylan as he overcomes his fear of flying with inspiration from the Tuskegee Airmen. Kids can watch the episode’s big premiere on Feb. 26 at 7:30 p.m.
Adding to the football fun, families can experience the final episode of NFL Slimetime Season 4 on Feb. 12 at 7:30 p.m. The finale of the weekly NFL series will also be available to stream the next day on Paramount+, along with a recap of Super Bowl LIX.
Families and football fans alike can watch NFL Slimetime Presents Nickelodeon’s Game Changers on Nickelodeon on Feb. 26 at 8 p.m., or stream it the next day on Paramount+ and the Nickelodeon YouTube Channel.
