The new Nintendo Switch will *finally* be here soon after months of speculation!
This fall, Nintendo is releasing the Nintendo Switch (OLED model), the next gaming system in the Nintendo Switch family. Featuring enhanced audio and a vibrant, 7-inch, OLED display screen, kids can bet that Animal Crossing for the Switch is about to get a whole lot more colorful.
Besides all the physical upgrades, the new Nintendo Switch features player enhancements across all the different ways kids can choose to play. In TV mode, kids can set the Nintendo Switch into the dock and play games right on the TV. They can also discover a new way to play on the big screen by using the built-in wired LAN port. In tabletop mode, kids can flip the actual screen back to play multiplayer games using the same system and the two included Joy-Con controllers — perfect for siblings.
With a wide adjustable stand, players can tilt and adjust the screen angle to make gaming easier. Just like the other Nintendo Switch consoles, kids can take the OLED model on the go for long road trips or to a friend’s house for multiplayer mode.
The OLED model comes in two colors: a white set with white Joy-Con controllers, a black main unit, and a white dock; or a neon set with neon red and neon blue Joy-Con controllers, a black main unit, and a black dock. The new system will launch on Oct. 8 for $349.99 at major retailers. We can’t wait to see what our favorite Nintendo games look like on a bigger, more colorful screen!
