Expert Review: hand2mind’s Numberblocks Five’s Musical Superstar Stage

Numberblock Five’s Musical Superstar Stage is the latest installment in the Numberblock universe! This set is a fun-loving, music-making, 22-piece stage with added elements of basic math. Kids will join the Numberblock Five action figure on his adventure on stage, becoming a rockstar and getting introduced to some simple math on the way.

We love that there is a combination of fun, traditional playing with the addition of simple math. We all know playing is a great way to learn, and the simple exposure to numbers and math elements blends in effortlessly with this fun music toy. We think it is a toy that will get kids excited to play. but also beneficial to the introduction of math into a child’s everyday play.

While kids can definitely press the buttons and explore this set’s fun and cool elements on their own, a grown-up guiding them through the math portion will be key to ensuring the child understands that element of the toy. Slight adult guidance will be needed for kids to use the Activity Book, which explains the math components. Grown-ups can encourage little ones to not just play rockstar but to use the math tools as well (and realize the math challenges are just as fun as the spinning stage)! Due to small pieces, this set is for kids ages 3 and up.
