PBS Kids is welcoming a new, quirky family to their group of educational programs!
Kids can meet new friends and learn to think outside the box by watching Lyla in the Loop. The show features diverse and relatable characters who use STEM-based skills to solve their problems together as a family.
The animated series focuses on a Black family, specifically 7-year-old Lyla, who gets things done in her own creative way. Kids can watch the Loops Lunch family solve exciting challenges like building a homemade carnival game or creating a new sandwich for the family restaurant. Suitable for kids ages 4 and up, the show includes STEM-based ideas that encourage viewers to think, design, and try things that are out of the ordinary.
Kids will love spending time with Lyla as she uses her creative and strategic problem-solving skills to help her family, friends, and community. This optimistic girl sees opportunities wherever she goes and loves to make, build, and create no matter the result…even if she gets carried away sometimes.
Families can stay in the loop with Lyla and her adventures when Lyla in the Loop launches on PBS Kids on Feb. 5. Kids can learn more about the Loops Lunch crew by visiting pbskids.org/lyla.
