These pups are in need of some help, and caring kids are just the ones for the job!
The Rainbowcorns Puppycorn Rescue Surprise is the latest addition to ZURU‘s Puppycorn Surprise line, recommended for kids ages 3 and up. For those who are unfamiliar with the magical species, a puppycorn is pretty much exactly what it sounds like — a plush puppy with a sparkly unicorn horn and wings. These magical pups hatch from a large egg (which also features both dog ears and a unicorn horn) that is packed with themed surprises. This time, however, the puppycorns aren’t feeling well after they hatch. They need a little TLC in the form of playtime!
Kids can open the giant egg to reveal their puppycorn plush friend and 12 additional surprises. Plus, the reusable egg serves as a great storage space once playtime is over.
There are seven puppycorns in the collection to unbox, each one a different breed that feels under the weather for different reasons. On each puppycorn’s belly, there is a peel-and-reveal sticker that indicates which puppycorn kids have rescued. The handy collector’s guide lets kids track which puppycorns they have, such as Posh, the pink poodle with a band-aid emblem. Kids can also check what their pup’s emblem means by referencing the included clipboard accessory.
Now, for the surprises! Each of the included surprises are on theme with the puppycorn, including stickers, a cloth bandage, and a syringe full of slime. Kids can use these accessories to pretend to care for their sick puppycorn and work to heal them up, allowing imaginations to run wild and extend the play experience beyond the unboxing. Kids will also discover a small egg that they can crack open to reveal a Dr. Boo-Boocorn figure, which they can play with on its own or use as a pencil topper to make writing or drawing more fun.
