Kids can rock out across the Roblox universe this Saturday, March 27, at 3 p.m. EDT for the 8th Annual Bloxy Awards ceremony!
Each year, the global online platform Roblox celebrates the passion and creativity of its community with the Bloxy Awards. One of the highlights for this year’s ceremony is a collaboration with Warner Records for a virtual concert featuring UK rock band, Royal Blood.
Kids everywhere can join in the fun right inside the Roblox platform, marking the second year the fully animated award show will play out live, solely inside the digital platform. The experience will take fans on a voyage through four distinct environments in the Roblox metaverse. The exclusive, virtual performance from Royal Blood will start halfway through the event, transporting players to an outer space-themed concert venue.
Royal Blood will perform three songs, including their new single, “Limbo.” If kids miss the live performance, they can catch it again as it will replay every hour between March 27-April 6 inside Roblox. It will also be available on YouTube starting on April 6.
The Bloxy Awards is highly immersive, with plenty of ways for fans to play. Kids can score virtual merchandise, play games, take quizzes, and even chat in a Q&A with the band.
