Spin Master Up in the Sky! Flying Krypto

YOU WILL BELIEVE A PUP CAN FLY

  • The breakout star of James Gunn’s Superman
  • A figure that flies
  • Flies for five minutes on a single charge

Inspired by the super-powered canine hero of the blockbuster Superman film, this 7.5-inch Krypto takes flight in kids’ (or kidults!) hands using Spin Master’s hand-controlled flight technology. It’s like a drone that hovers, flies, and zips through the house. His legs are posable, and his little tail wags as he flies.

Krypto’s had our hearts since the first teaser for Superman dropped. We also love creative ways to bring cinematic characters home with unique play experiences; Krypto does that. While this R/C may not scream “active toy” from the outset, it gets kids moving as they accompany Krypto on his high-flying adventures through the imaginary streets of Metropolis, guiding him with the power of their hands. This pup is durable, and like the dog in the film, he can take a tumble, crash, and play again and again. There is a learning curve to get Krypto flying smoothly.

Krypto comes with a USB charging cable to keep him flying without the need for buying batteries. On average, he flies around five minutes on a single charge. While Krypto is a safe and fun toy, it does have lightweight, spinning blades like a drone, so that’s something to look out for if kids have long hair. This toy is for indoor use only.

Budding members of the Justice League (or Justice Gang; hat-tip to Guy Gardner, Hawkgirl, and Mr. Terrific); enemies of Lex Luthor; metahumans-in-training; kids looking to turn their homes into a real-life comic book
