The Jedi Order has been defending a galaxy far, far away for generations. Now, they’re coming to save our planet.
Star Wars: Jedi Temple Challenge is a Star Wars game show that tests young Padawans to see who is capable of becoming a Jedi Knight. In each episode, kids will compete in teams of two for three rounds that will test their Jedi strength, knowledge, and bravery. With themed costumes, trivia tests, and one team advancing to a mysterious temple full of surprises and challenges, it feels *a lot* like Legends of the Hidden Temple — Star Wars style.
Star Wars fans will recognize some familiar voices, including host Ahmed Best, who played Jar Jar Binks in the prequels. Best will guide players through the trials, Mary Holland (Veep) will voice the wise-cracking protocol droid companion AD-3, and Sam Witwer (the voice of Darth Maul in the final season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars) will give a new voice to the dark side of the Force.
The show will premiere with two episodes on Wednesday, June 3, with eight more episodes to follow on starwarskids.com and the official Star Wars Kids YouTube channel. Families can also find fun facts, craft ideas, drawing tutorials, and other Star Wars activities on the YouTube channel.
