February is Black History Month and Target is spotlighting Black founders and creators with a curated selection of toys, games, books, and music. This is Target’s ninth year in a row debuting an exclusive product collection for Black History Month. There are tons of products to choose from, but here is a sampling!

On the dolls front, look for Positively Perfect toddler dolls from Dr. Lisa and World of EPI, 14.5-inch dolls with soft, washable hair in a variety of hair textures and styles for $19.99. Purpose ToysNaturalistas Fashion Dolls also feature a mix of natural hair textures and skin tones for culturally authentic looks. Each doll has five points of articulation and aspirational storylines, with prices ranging from $9.99-12.89 (and they have fashion packs full of accessories, too!).

The Healthy Roots Dolls have washable, naturally curly hair that kids can style. There are different dolls to collect, like Zoe, who is 18 inches tall with vinyl limbs and a soft body torso — available for $79.99. HarperIman makes handmade, 14-inch linen dolls in a variety of skin tones. They are meant to promote a positive self-image in kids and are available for $34.99 each.

Urban Intellectuals makes Black History Flashcards Games with different themes, like women throughout history and Afro-Latin/Caribbean history for $14.99 per set. The University of Dope Card Game is for an older crowd with hip-hop trivia, pop quizzes, and multiple choice questions for $24.99.

Puzzle Huddle makes jigsaw puzzles for kids, like the 100-piece puzzle with a “Future Chefs” theme for $19.99 and the “Future Scientist” 15-piece design for $11.99. There are some great puzzles and games from Upbounders by Little Likes Kids, like the Camping Outdoors Take-Along Memory Game for $16.99 and the Popular Sports Go Fish & Memory Match Playing Cards for $9.99. A+X Puzzles also makes some colorful 48-piece puzzles in different themes for under $10.
