The release of Space Jam: A New Legacy is going to be one of the biggest events of the summer. Before the film premieres in July, kids can get a primer on the original Space Jam storyline with a Teen Titans Go! crossover movie on Cartoon Network.
Teen Titans Go! See Space Jam is an 80-minute original movie that follows the Teen Titans as they discover 1996’s Space Jam live-action/animated film for the first time.
In the special, the Teen Titans get a visit from the Nerdlucks, the Space Jam villains who tried to capture Michael Jordan and the Looney Tunes. When Cyborg discovers that his fellow Titans have never seen the classic film, he organizes a watch party for them full of hilarious commentary and fun facts from the rest of the squad. Robin doesn’t trust the Nerdlucks one bit and questions whether they’re here to attend the watch party or if they have something else up their sleeves.
Teen Titans Go! See Space Jam will premiere on Sunday, June 20 at 6 p.m. ET/PT on Cartoon Network, followed by a digital release from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment on July 27. Teen Titans Go! fans can also tune in for a different crossover special with the DC Super Hero Girls on May 31.
