Attention Last Kids on Earth fans: It may be the monster apocalypse, but we’ve got tons of good news!
Based on the New York Times bestselling books by Max Brallier, The Last Kids on Earth, a series from Atomic Cartoons, returns to Netflix on April 17 for a second season. The new season based on the second book in the franchise, The Last Kids on Earth and the Zombie Parade, will premiere with ten, 22-minute episodes and will star the voices of Mark Hamill, Rosario Dawson, Catherine O’Hara, Bruce Campbell, Keith David, and Nick Wolfhard in the starring role.

Additionally, Netflix and Atomic Cartoons gave a first look at characters Skaelka (O’Hara), Chef (Campbell), Bardle (Hamill), and Rezzoch (Dawson). Skaelka is a female monster who was a vicious warrior in the monster dimension and is obsessed with decapitation. Chef is a grouchy monster who cooks all of the bizarre creations at Joe’s Pizza, and is still learning to cook with Earth food. Bardle is the old, wizened, and wizardly default leader of the monsters at Joe’s Pizza. Rezzoch ishe ultra-villain, also known as Rezzoch the Ancient, Destructor of Worlds. Rezzoch has no real form that humans can truly see. See the first look at the character art below.
