Kids can transform their toy boxes by assembling one of Cybertron’s greatest Decepticons. The LEGO Group and Hasbro are teaming up to reveal the newest Transformers-inspired building set: LEGO Icons Transformers Soundwave Set.Â
Families can roll out into new building experiences with a LEGO brick interpretation of Soundwave. The 1505-piece Decepticon model features poseable joints, a working cassette bay, and seamless conversions between the robot and cassette modes. If kids want to hear Soundwave in action, they can press his play button to hear specially recorded voice and sound effects.Â

Soundwave wouldn’t be complete without his spies, Ravage and Laserbeak. These two buildable companions can convert into mini cassette tapes that snugly fit into Soundwave’s chest bay. For added authenticity, the Decepticon model comes with a rocket pod, a laser blaster, and darts.
Families can display their Decepticon creation alongside the included display plaque, which showcases Soundwave’s power statistics. Soundwave joins the existing LEGO Icons Transformers line, which currently includes Optimus Prime and Bumblebee models.
