This toy is sure to strike a chord with little music lovers! Buffalo Games is teaming up with guitar maker Brian Calhoun to branch out to the world of music with the new TinkerTar.

TinkerTar is made with kids in mind. The guitar toy features just a single string, keeping things simple for small hands that are starting out in music-making. The guitars come in a collection of fun and bright designs such as a guitar shaped like a pizza, a rainbow heart, a tiger, and more.

The TinkerTar’s fingerboard is color-coded to match the included songbook, so even kids that aren’t quite reading yet can start following along. The book comes with 15 songs kids can play, all focused on teaching them to play melodies with TinkerTar before they move on to tackling more complex multi-string chords. The guitar is designed for kids ages 3 and up, so it’s perfect for even the youngest music fan.

For $24.99, each set comes with a guitar, three extra strings, a pick, and a music booklet. The body of the guitar is made from sustainable, responsibly sourced wood, so it’s eco-friendly, too.

TinkerTar is available now at Walmart, and is expected to release in Target stores next month, as well as Amazon in early August. Get ready to get lost in the music with a new guitar made just for kids!
