Take the controls and go!
Here at The Toy Insider, we’re no strangers to Maxx Action! The brand from Sunny Days Entertainment brings kids the toughest, coolest, and fastest construction vehicle toys around. Just when we thought it couldn’t get any bigger or better, the 2-in-1 Mega Mover bulldozed its way into our lives.
The Mega Mover — as its name suggests — is two toys in one, with a backhoe loader that conveniently fits into the long hauler to drive between construction sites (or play areas). Each features its own sounds and movements and is ready to drive into imaginative play.
Once they’re ready to get to work with the backhoe loader, kids can move the joysticks to control the front end loader bucket and excavator arm. (If you haven’t yet had the pleasure of a preschooler teaching you all of the construction vehicle terms, this is the scoopy front part and the diggy back thing). The joysticks are equipped for little hands to grasp and vehicle noises are made as they move. With the backhoe loader, kids can also press a button to make it move forward and another to make it drive back, all while making the sounds a real backhoe would make.
Beep! Beep! The long hauler is moving in. Kids can press buttons on the side of it to activate sounds and lights. The horn honking action let’s other construction vehicles know to get out of the way of this truck that’s more than a foot long.
As winter approaches, it’s great that kids can play with this toy inside or outside. Parents don’t have to worry about the wheels scuffing up their floors on a snowy day. When the weather is nice, kids can take it out back and do some construction in the garden as they dig and dump real dirt.
For construction-loving kids, there’s no better toy than a realistic version of the vehicles they can’t get enough of! Can you dig it?
