BrickWarriors, a Wilmington, Del.-based company that specializes in Lego minifigure-compatible accessories, recently launched its fourth annual Toys for Tots campaign.
From November 1 through November 30, BrickWarriors will donate 5 percent of all online sales to Toys for Tots, a non-profit organization that collects and delivers toys to less fortunate children during the holiday season.
BrickWarriors was founded by CEO, Ryan Hauge, and CMO, Amanda Taylor, after the two graduated from the University of Delaware. Hauge had recognized a need for minifigure accessories while playing with Legos as a kid when his creations quickly became limited by the scope and availability of accessories. It wasn’t until 2011 that his childhood wishes came to reality.
All BrickWarrior accessories fit seamlessly on the minifigures and are made from ABS plastic, the same plastic that Lego uses. BrickWarrior sells hats and hair, weapons, instruments, and more based on themes not already offered by Lego, such as Greek mythology, the Wild West, and post-apocalypse, with new product releases every month. They also sell custom Lego minifigures, complete with unique painted facial expressions and themed accessories.
The pieces are affordable additions to any creative kid’s collection of Legos, fueling the desire, like Hauge’s, for exciting new minifigure accessories.
