The Care Bears are celebrating the first ever #ShareYourCare Day, and they want you to join in on the fun! To commemorate the holiday, the Care Bears are on location in the Bronx, New York with 10-year-old Zach Kaplan and Leake & Watts to donate plush toys to children in need in New York City. They are also challenging fans to share, care, love, and help those around them every day of the year.
Together, the Care Bears and Zach have chosen to donate 400 Care Bears plush toys and DVDs to children aged 2-4 from Leake & Watts early childhood programs in the Bronx.
With the National #ShareYourCare movement, the Care Bears are reminding fans that all actions, large and small, can make a difference. Sharing your care can be as simple as sharing a toy with a sibling, taking out the trash for your mom, helping an older neighbor crossing the street; or bigger things such as planting a tree or spending a day volunteering for a charity.
