Skip the bulky library books in your suitcase and listen up! LeapFrog introduces your kids’ new favorite travel buddy.
The On-the-Go Story Pal contains more than 70 stories, poems, songs, and lullabies. That means that there is tons of content to keep kids entertained and engaged — and also that they (and you!) don’t have to keep listening to the same thing on repeat. If that content isn’t enough, there is also free additional content that is available to download. And since it’s a LeapFrog product, of course there is an educational element built in. The content’s narrators, character voices, sound and sound effects encourage listening comprehension and build a foundation for storytelling.
The player features easy-to-navigate controls so that it’s simple for kids to use. Its top feature is built right into the name: It features a carrying strap that lets kids take it anywhere. Attach it to a bag and take it on an overnight trip or travel with it on a long car ride. The player’s super adorable bunny shape also makes it a cute accessory for the outside of a bag.
Kids can even further personalize their experience with the On-the-Go Story Pal by recording up to 10 minutes of their parent’s voice reading their favorite story. This feature is a perfect complement to the player’s portability — if sleeping away from home is a bit scary, this feature provides a bit of comfort from home. Kids can also use this feature to create their own stories and record it into the player.
A couple of additional features grown-ups will especially love: It features a timer so that kids can create a custom playlist to be played before the player shuts itself off. The player also features a headphone jack so that kids can plug in their headphones (not included) to listen — and so parents don’t have to.
