Pop singer Corinne Bailey Rae is publishing her debut children’s book, Put Your Records On. Inspired by her hit song of the same name, this story draws from Corinne’s earliest memories of music, encouraging readers to find their unique voice and use it proudly. The book will launch in March 2026 from Rocky Pond Books and is available to preorder now.
Put Your Records On follows a young girl named Bea on her Sunday visit to Aunt Portia. The pair begins combing through Aunt Portia’s cherished record collection while looking for something to pass the time. As they listen together, Bea explores the rainbow of feelings music can awaken, from dancing through a bouncy circus medley to the comfort of a song during a scary thunderstorm. At the end of the day, Bea returns home with the knowledge that music can transform any moment, especially when you need it most.
