Mattel and Mobil 1 are hitting the road to find the next Hot Wheels car, and it’s impossible to curb our excitement!

The Hot Wheels Legends Tour is back for its ninth annual traveling car show. Kicking off April 25 in Tampa, Florida, this event invites car lovers around the world to showcase their tricked-out car builds and compete for the ultimate crown: to immortalize their design as a die-cast Hot Wheels vehicle.

Families can visit virtual and in-person tour stops in 20 different countries, all culminating in the Global Grand Finale later this fall. There, the hotrod with the most authenticity, creativity, and garage spirit will be officially inducted into Hot Wheels’ coveted Garage of Legends and recreated as a 1:64-scale vehicle.

At the U.S. tour dates, families can get up close and personal with life-sized Hot Wheels cars, including a custom Formula 1 car with Hot Wheels liveries, an iconic Fast & Furious vehicle, and a Skeletor-themed Hot Wheels Bone Shaker, in honor of Mattel’s upcoming Masters of the Universe film. Other event highlights include play spaces for kids, premium collector-car displays, and special-edition Hot Wheels Legends toys available only at the 2026 tour.

In addition to Mobil 1, this year’s contest will also welcome a new partner, AriZona Beverage Company. The company will incorporate its delicious drinks into each tour stop, offering sample sessions, licensed products, and even an AriZona-branded car build.
