Get competitive with the latest game from Exploding Kittens: A Game of Cat & Mouth.
This is the first nontraditional card game from Exploding Kittens. Instead, it was created as a magnet-powered, pinball-esque game for two players.
To begin, players can fold open the box, which doubles as the board. Players must use the magnetic “Kitty Paw Flickers” to fling yellow balls as fast as they can through the “Cat Head” centerpiece. There are three ways to win a round: pop out the single black nose ball, knock out all three white “teeth,” or fling all eight yellow balls to the opponent’s side of the board. The best out of five rounds wins.
The game features hidden magnets in the board and at the base of the Kitty Paw Flickers for longevity of the flinging mechanic without any batteries required. It also features a popular cat character from another Exploding Kittens game: Rainbow Ralphing Cat.
Animal lovers will be thrilled to know that their purchase of the game can help save real-life cats. Exploding Kittens partnered with Best Friends Animal Society, a national animal welfare organization dedicated to ending the killing of shelter animals. Exploding Kittens will work with TikTok and Instagram influencers to promote both the game and Best Friends Animal Society leading up to National Cat Day on Oct. 29.
