Science is a powerful thing — just ask Ada Twist!
The 8-year-old scientist from the Ada Twist, Scientist picture book and Netflix series is heading to New York City to celebrate a tried-and-true holiday tradition with her own balloon in the 95th annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Fans of the books and the show can look for Ava’s debut at the parade, airing on NBC on Thanksgiving morning.
If you’re not familiar with Ada Twist, the animated series is launching on Netflix on Sept. 28. Ada Twist, Scientist follows Ava as she solves mysteries with the help of science and her two best friends, Rosie Revere and Iggy Peck. Stores are stocking up on Ada Twist products for the holiday season, including toy collections, activity books, home decor, and collectibles.
Just Play is launching an Ada Twist collection featuring dolls, playsets, plush toys, and role-play items priced from $10.97-49.97. The toys emphasize scientific discovery and encourage kids to find fun science lessons in everyday activities to help them develop a love for science at an early age. Look for the first seven items debuting exclusively at Walmart in early October. We’ve included the Ada Twist, Scientist On-the-Go Lab Set in the STEM 10 list in the Toy Insider‘s Holiday Gift Guide!
My What Box is creating a curated box of STEM activities for kids between the ages of 3-5.
