Bayou Barbie just became Barbie — and it’s a slam dunk for basketball fans! Mattel honors WNBA superstar and game-changer Angel Reese with a new doll.
In addition to her trophies, Reese is a champion of equality, using her platform to encourage young girls to lead with confidence, chase their dreams, and create opportunities for themselves and others. In 2023, she founded the Angel C. Reese Foundation, which has helped expand access to sports, education, financial literacy, and more for kids in underrepresented communities. Her courage, dedication, and fearless advocacy make Reese a natural fit for Barbie’s Signature line.

Intended for kids ages 6 and up, the Angel Reese doll sports a hot-pink jersey with her Atlanta Dream No. 5 on the front and her Chicago Sky and LSU Nos. 10 on the back. She rocks her signature long nails and leg sleeve, paired with her headband, layered jewelry, and Barbie basketball accessory.
Rounding out the look is a pair of custom Angel Reese 1 Reeboks, featuring a new Barbie-inspired colorway. Additionally, Reebok is releasing the same sneakers in kids and adult sizes next month, so fans can lace up just like the legend.

To tip off the collab, Mattel and Reebok debuted the doll and shoes at TOGETHXR House Chicago, co-owned by Reese. This multi-day activation celebrates women’s sports and culture. During WNBA All-Star Weekend, July 24-15, families at the fest can step inside the Angel Reese Dream Closet to get an up-close look at the new products, snap epic pics, and even shop a limited-edition Barbie X Angel Reese capsule collection, featuring apparel and accessories inspired by the doll.
The celebration continues later in Atlanta on Aug. 3. During the matchup between the Atlanta Dream and Las Vegas Aces at State Farm Arena, Mattel will host a Barbie-inspired game day takeover, complete with exclusive co-branded merch for fans to swipe. The Barbie Signature doll is available now in-store at Target and also online at Target, Walmart, Amazon, and Mattel Shop. Meanwhile, the new Angel Reese 1 Reeboks will launch Aug. 3 at 10 a.m. EST at Dick’s Sporting Goods, Footlocker, and reebok.com.
