National Teddy Bear Day is almost here! To honor the cute and cuddly creatures, Build-A-Bear is launching a fundraiser to support the Build-A-Bear Foundation.
Starting Sep. 9, families can donate online or at Build-A-Bear Workshops across the U.S. For guests who prefer to give the old-fashioned way, donate at their nearest storefront at checkout. The Foundation will donate a teddy bear to a children’s hospital for every dollar donated through Sept. 16.
The Build-A-Bear Foundation has donated free books, bears, and memorable experiences to sick kids to brighten their hospital stays since 2004. In total, the organization has provided more than 2 million bears to patients.
Additionally, on National Teddy Bear Day (Sept. 9), the brand is offering a 2-for-$25 Lil’ Cub special — donations are not required. For the affordable price of $25, guests will receive two of their favorite stuffed cub bears. Brownie can take Puddy, Sandy, or another friend to their upgraded crib.
