Captain Mail, previously known as MailPop, is here to get kids excited about letters again. The subscription service offers packets addressed to the kid receiving them, with a personalized introductory message talking about each packet’s theme. Kids can receive packets weekly for $18 per month, every two weeks for $11 per month, or monthly for $6.50 per month. The newly updated letters feature even more interactivity and entertainment.

Inside each packet, kids will get an informative newsletter powered by Encyclopedia Britannica; an activity sheet with interactive delights like mazes and word searches; a 3D paper toy to assemble; a new moral value they can embody in their day-to-day lives; a joke of the week strip; and a classical music song of the week. The songs are easier to find than ever thanks to new QR codes.
