If you think that the Care Bears couldn’t get any sweeter, you’re wrong. Care Bears teamed up with The Birthday Party Project to put on themed birthday parties for kids experiencing homelessness.
Share Your Care Day, which happens on Sept. 9 every year, encourages Care Bears fans to share, care, and love through small acts of kindness, volunteering, helping others in need, and more. This year’s Share Your Care Day focuses on hosting birthday celebrations for kids who don’t get to celebrate their birthday every year due to a lack of resources.
Alongside the Care Bears birthday parties, Care Bears will donate plush toys each month for the next year to ensure little ones have a friend to snuggle up with at the end of the day.
Care Bears is also partnering with local charities and community groups in the UK, Australia, and Canada to spread the love and joy of Care Bears to kids worldwide. You can learn more about The Birthday Party Project on their official website.
