Cartoon Network viewers are going back to Sodor in the new year! There are five new episodes of Thomas & Friends: All Engines Go launching on Cartoon Network’s Cartoonito starting on Jan. 2. 

In the first episode, “Thomas in Charge,” Gordon leaves Thomas in charge, but he doesn’t give the other trains assignments that suit their strengths. With the help of his friends, Thomas has to fix his errors and help everyone get their tasks done by the end of the day. 

On Jan. 9, catch “Kana Recharges,” which follows Thomas as he tries to play with Kana after she asks for a day off. The problem is, Kana just wants a relaxing day off without the commotion of train life.

In “The Big Skunk Funk,” Thomas has to deliver Sir Topham Hatt’s prized roses to the Sodor Flower Festival, but has to figure out what to do when the roses are sprayed by a skunk on the way there. “The Big Skunk Funk” airs on Jan. 16. 

“Off the Rails” follows Nia as she tries to control an earth ball that rolls off of her flatcar as it bounces across Sodor. The episode launches on Jan. 23. 

Finally, “Diesel’s Dilemma” airs on Jan. 30, following Diesel and Kenji as they swap roles after deciding they want to be known for more than their strength and speed. They both struggle outside of their strong suits, but emphasize the importance of trying new things!

All of the new episodes will premiere on Cartoon Network at 8:30 a.m. on their launch dates. With five new episodes of Thomas & Friends: All Engines Go coming out next month, kids will get their latest dose of tank engines!
