A new Dia de los Muertos-themed doll is joining the Rainbow High Celebrations Collection!

MGA Entertainment launched the Rainbow High Celebrations Collection back in January with the Chinese New Year Doll. Maria Garcia is the newest addition to the collection, and this doll is themed around the Mexican holiday that welcomes back souls of deceased relatives. The doll features calavera (skeleton) face paint, which serves as a reminder that the dead aren’t something to be afraid of. The doll also has references to other aspects of the holiday, including sugar skulls that are left on an ofrenda as a tribute and the mariachi bands that play during Dia de los Muertos.

The doll’s packaging folds open and comes tied together with a gold ribbon and a marigold flower, which are meant to attract the souls of the dead back home. Maria Garcia also comes with removable accessories, including earrings, headpieces, and skeleton gloves. The set also comes with a hair comb and an LED light-up display.

The Rainbow High Celebrations Collection: Maria Garcia Dia de los Muertos doll is suitable for kids ages 6 and up and is available now at major retailers.
